Mom of the Month

Welcome back to our monthly #MEETTHEMAMAS series where we feature one of our own Village VIP's here at FIT4MOM Folsom Lake.

We are so excited to introduce you to this hard working, amazing, long time member and Mama friend, Camille! This Mama of two beautiful littles came to us for a prenatal session and not only met lifelong Mama friends but continued explore our other classes and sessions (Boost and Run Club). She always brings with her a hard work ethic, laid back friendly demeanor and welcomes all the Moms to stay and connect after class. We all adore and love this Mama and are so happy to honor her this month!

1. Hometown?

Johnson City, TN

2. Who is in your family?

Lex, Ziya (3), Eszie (20 months)

3. Current or previous career?

Registered Nurse.

4. Childhood dream/ambition?

Become a teacher! I ended up getting my Masters in Education (for nursing) but still haven’t used it. Maybe one day I will have time!

5.What does motherhood mean to you?

Helping my tiny humans navigate life in the best way possible so they can grow into a caring, loving, kind bigger human.

6. What is the furthest you have been away from home?

England. I went when I was 18 weeks pregnant with my first and was miserable the whole time. Haha.

7.How did you find FIT4MOM?

Kaylee! I met her on one of those mom apps when I first moved to Folsom and she told me about it so when I got pregnant with Eszie I decided to enroll into the night time prenatal class. In that class I met Nicci, Erin, and Megan and since have went into Run Club where I have met some other amazing mommas - Kelly, Elaine, Laura, Lisa… and the list continues to grow! I just started my first AM boost sessions so I am sure I’ll meet some other amazing moms there, too.

8. How has it impacted your life?

Friendship!! I love the friendships I have made since joining. I’m pretty sure I talked more than exercise in my prenatal class but Erin handled it well!

9.Favorite exercise?

Running. Hands down.

10. Proudest Moment?

Besides birthing two kids….. walking across the stage when I graduated college. I worked my tail off and got out debt free and did it all on my own!

11. Something about yourself that would surprise us?

Long story but for those of you who know me… that part won’t surprise you!….

I got a nose job when I was 18!! During spring break… my senior year of high school! I had wanted a nose job since I was 13. I emailed a plastic surgeon’s office at that age and asked the cost. I started saving at each job I worked through the years. I paid the surgeon and then had to pay the anesthesiologist. Paid him in 2 sets of 4 quarters as the final payment!! I had a large nose because I’m Italian. My parents refused to sign for me so I told them the day I turned 18 it would be done… and it was.
